TheOtherLab - MoonMart

One of my earliest work in TheOtherLab which is the MoonMart Environment that will eventually become the Company's website front page. This was also my first time setting up a scene in Cinema 4D, getting used to the workflow and the creation and assigning of shaders and also using Octane Render's real time viewer for the tweaking and adjusting the scene. It was a combined effort between me and my other fellow artist colleagues, from the initial concept to the modelling of assets and texturing, although I handled most of the exterior of the MoonMart but the final lighting was done by my art lead.

Some challenges faced were in the initial concept stage, we went through various concepts and sketches trying to find one that fits the TheOtherSide universe and is fun and interesting to look at, and we eventually settled on a MoonMart. We added in some interesting elements such as the Moonz ATM, the space ride at the front door and even tease some of the Creatures (Which at this point were not officially revealed)

A wireframe shot of the scene, the modelling and setting up the scene were still done in Maya, which eventually were imported to Cinema 4D for the final scene adjustment.

You can spot near the right side of the shot is the Character Scale reference that we used to model everything to scale.
